Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the Modi government's policy in Seemanchal and emphasized AIMIM's active role in the Bihar elections. He made sharp remarks on issues like cricket matches, infiltration, and young voters.
Bihar Election 2025: Political preparations for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 have intensified. Amidst this, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP Asaduddin Owaisi has ramped up his 'Nyay Yatra' (justice march) and electoral strategy in Seemanchal. On Friday, September 26, 2025, during a press conference in Purnia, Owaisi launched a scathing attack on the Modi government. He questioned the central government's policy regarding cricket matches and also emphasized AIMIM's role compared to opposition parties.
Cricket Match and Army's Success
Owaisi stated that during the discussion on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, he had praised the army's success. However, he questioned the Modi government's organization of a cricket match. Owaisi mentioned that PM Modi had said in Parliament that water and blood cannot flow together. He questioned why a cricket match was played when people's lives were at risk. He asserted that this was hypocrisy and that the citizens of the country should know the truth about it.
The Cost of 26 Lives
Launching a sharp attack on the Modi government, Owaisi questioned why the government stopped trade and water facilities if they intended to play cricket. He also raised the question of whether the cost of 26 lives was ₹3000 crores. Owaisi stated that the citizens of the country need answers to this. According to him, this issue is not just about sports or politics, but about responsibility and sensitivity.
Statement on Contesting Elections in Bihar
When asked about contesting elections alone in Seemanchal, Owaisi remarked that the game is not over yet. He explained that in politics, love does not have a one-sided effect. Regarding the question of "I love Mohammed," Owaisi stated that there is nothing anti-national about it. He asserted that when the word 'love' is being used, what perspective would one use to reject it?
Issue of Infiltration
Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the central government on the issue of infiltration in Seemanchal. He stated that the people of this region are being defamed by being accused of being infiltrators. Owaisi directly questioned Amit Shah, asking what he was doing there. He added that people who came from Bangladesh, for instance, Sheikh Hasina, should be expelled first. He questioned what policies were implemented that proved beneficial for the people of Seemanchal.
Gen Z and Young Voters
Owaisi also raised questions regarding the young voters of Bihar. He stated that approximately 58 percent of voters in Bihar are under 25 years of age. He said that the government should ensure that the benefits of schemes reach the youth segment. He asserted that young voters will play a decisive role in Bihar's politics and cannot be ignored.
Held All Leaders Accountable
On the issues of Seemanchal, Owaisi has previously held PM Modi, Amit Shah, Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Congress accountable. He has always highlighted the issues of the people of Seemanchal. He states that AIMIM will contest elections alone in this region and work to provide proper representation to the public.
AIMIM's Strategy
AIMIM has further intensified its 'Nyay Yatra' (justice march) in Seemanchal. Owaisi's focus is on issues related to the Muslim community and the development of Seemanchal in the state. He claims that the party will contest elections alone and work for the interests of the public. He clearly stated that the game is not over yet, and AIMIM will play a decisive role in Bihar's politics.
