Ayodhya — In the Ram Path area, a golf cart (electric cart) went out of control and collided with pilgrims and parked vehicles nearby. Several pilgrims were injured in this accident.
Police stated that the accident occurred when the golf cart was moving at a high speed. According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which led to the collision. The injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
Local residents have questioned the administration and traffic management following this incident. They state that these types of vehicles (golf carts) are being driven too fast on such narrow pilgrimage routes, which seriously endangers the safety of pilgrims.
E-rickshaw drivers have also expressed their dissatisfaction regarding this. They are alleging that golf cart services are often operated without proper registration and safety standards.
This accident also serves as a warning to the Ayodhya administration that the safety arrangements for vehicles carrying pilgrims should be strengthened to prevent such incidents in the future.
