Preparations are in full swing to hoist a special 22-foot nylon Dharma-Dhwaja on the main spire of Ayodhya's Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Trials for the automatic hoisting system have commenced for the 1.5-2 kg religious

Ayodhya: A special religious flag (Dharma-Dhwaja) will now be hoisted on the main spire of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The Trust has expedited its preparations, and trials for the flag have also commenced. According to official information, the flag's weight has been set at approximately 1.5 to 2 kg. Initially, its weight was proposed to be around 11 kg, but it was reduced due to technical reasons.

The religious flag is being crafted from nylon fabric, which is considered lightweight and weather-resistant. The flag will be approximately 22 feet long and 11 feet wide. Its shape has been designed as triangular.

An automatic system is being installed to hoist the flag on the temple's spire. For this purpose, the Trust has begun testing with a dummy flag to ensure no technical glitches occur during the final flag-hoisting ceremony.

The flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple will take place on a special religious occasion. A final decision regarding the date of the event will be made soon. According to the Trust, this flag will symbolize the temple's grandeur and tradition.
