Irfan Solanki Granted Bail

Irfan Solanki, a former MLA from the Samajwadi Party, has been granted bail. SP MP Ruchi Veera congratulated him, noting that Azam Khan was released a few days ago, and now Irfan Solanki Sahab has also received bail. Former MLA Irfan Solanki walked out of Maharajganj Jail after approximately 33 months. Following his release, his supporters chanted loudly. In an interaction with the media, Irfan Solanki said that he remains politically and socially b due to his supporters and well-wishers.

Azam Khan's Release

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan was released from jail on September 23, 2025. He spent approximately 23 months in jail. His last case was registered against Azam Khan in 2020 at the Civil Lines Police Station in Rampur. This case involved allegations of fraud and other related offenses.

Court Pronounced Sentence

In October 2023, a special court in Rampur convicted Azam Khan, his wife Tanzeen Fatima, and their son Abdullah Azam Khan in a case registered in 2019. This case was related to forgery in Abdullah's birth certificate. The court sentenced all three to seven years. However, Tanzeen Fatima and Abdullah were later granted bail and released from jail.
