In Mainoharpur Dubauli village of Azamgarh district, Uttar Pradesh, a cousin murdered a relative with an axe on Saturday night due to a land dispute. This incident occurred due to a long-standing dispute over cutting field embankments.

According to the police, Sagan Chauhan attacked his relative Jitendra Chauhan with an axe, leading to his on-the-spot death. After the incident, the accused, Sagan Chauhan, Indrapal Chauhan, Rabri Devi, and Parvati Devi, fled. Police have registered a murder case against them, and raids are underway for their arrest.

This incident is another example of violence linked to land disputes, which is also affecting relationships within families.
