Bihar: Following the formation of the new government in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar immediately took charge and visited the state's industrial sector. The objective of this visit was stated to be enhancing the capacity of local industries and creating employment opportunities. The Chief Minister inspected several key factory units in the Hajipur industrial area and reviewed their production processes.
Inspection of a factory manufacturing shoes for Russian soldiers
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar first visited a factory named Competence Exports Private Limited. This factory specializes in producing shoes for Russian soldiers. During the inspection, the CM closely observed the entire shoe manufacturing process and also sought directions from factory officials to increase production capacity. He stated that this step is crucial for promoting industrial development in Bihar, and both the quality and quantity of production in the state should be enhanced.
Observation of Fashionwear and Jacket Manufacturing Unit

Subsequently, the Chief Minister inspected the jacket manufacturing unit of New Zeal Fashionwear. In this unit, he reviewed the production process, quality control, and workplace arrangements. The Chief Minister instructed officials to pay special attention to product quality alongside production, to ensure that Bihar's products remain competitive in both national and international markets.
Satisfaction upon seeing local workers at Britannia Factory
During his visit, the Chief Minister also inspected the Britannia Biscuit Factory. Here, he gathered information about industrial activities and the production status. The Chief Minister was highly satisfied to learn that most of the workers employed at the factory were local. He stated that providing employment to local youth in Bihar is a priority for the government.
Vaishali MLA Siddharth Patel said that Bihar's youth will now find dignified employment opportunities within their own state. He informed that the government has initiated steps for establishing new factories and expanding the capacity of existing industries.
CM's Focus on Employment
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's visit is considered significant in many respects. He clarified that the Bihar government will provide full support for establishing new industries and enhancing the capacity of existing industries in the state.
