Congress's Current Scenario
Currently, Congress has a total of 17 MLAs in Bihar. Most of them are likely to get an opportunity to contest again. However, according to some party reports, there is also a possibility that 1-2 MLAs might not get tickets. In the last Assembly elections in 2020, Congress contested on 70 seats and won 19. During this period, two MLAs have left the party. Considering the current preparations, Congress aims to establish a b hold on these 6 seats and improve its performance in the elections in collaboration with the Grand Alliance.
In the run-up to the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, discussions regarding seat-sharing within the Grand Alliance continue. It is expected that a formal announcement will be made in the next one or two days. This distribution will directly impact Bihar's political landscape and electoral strategy. While Congress has finalized its candidates, the final decision on alliance seats will depend on their winning percentage and the alliance's overall strategy.
