Intense Feud Within Lalu's Family
Following RJD's crushing electoral defeat, tensions within Lalu Prasad Yadav's family have openly surfaced. Lalu's daughter, Rohini Acharya, alleged on social media that she was humiliated within the family, even subjected to abuse and shown slippers. She wrote that she was targeted because she opposed a certain compromise.
Rohini, who gained prominence for donating a kidney to her father, stated that her sacrifice was questioned within the family, and she even had to endure taunts about donating a “dirty kidney.” She advised women not to immerse themselves in disputes concerning their paternal homes but to focus their energy on the future of their children and families.
Tejpratap Sides with Sister
Amidst the escalating family dispute, Lalu's elder son, Tejpratap Yadav, came out in support of his sister. He wrote on social media that the insult to his sister Rohini would not be tolerated under any circumstances, and those who are creating rifts in the family would never be accepted by the people of Bihar.
In his statement, Tejpratap indirectly attacked leaders close to Tejashwi Yadav. He claimed that “Jaichands” (a term often used for traitors) have clouded Tejashwi's judgment, and action against them is now imperative. Tejpratap urged Lalu Prasad Yadav to give just a signal, asserting that the public would not delay in uprooting such individuals from the political landscape.
