The aim of the Yatra is to raise awareness of voter rights against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and to demonstrate the unity of the India coalition.

Sasaram: Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined the ongoing 'Voter Rights Yatra' in Bihar on Tuesday (August 26, 2025) along with her brother and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. A large number of people gathered on the streets during the Yatra, enthusiastically welcoming the leaders.

The Yatra resumed on Tuesday after a day's break. Rahul Gandhi had said in Araria in recent days that all the constituent parties of the 'India' alliance in Bihar are working together for the upcoming assembly elections, and the result will be positive.

Priyanka Gandhi's participation in this Yatra was a major attraction for the public and the media. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav were also present in the Yatra. 'Alliance' to Release Election Manifesto Soon

Rahul Gandhi announced that the 'India' alliance will soon release a joint manifesto. He said that all the constituent parties of the alliance are working together in the Bihar Assembly elections. According to Rahul Gandhi, this partnership is a symbol of cooperation and policy understanding between the opposition parties.

Along with this, he also targeted the central National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. He alleged that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in the state is aimed at helping the BJP and stealing votes. The 'Voter Rights Yatra' has been started in protest against this process.
