The Bombay High Court on Wednesday dismissed the complaints filed by actress Rakhi Sawant and her estranged husband Adil Durrani against each other. The court decided to close the case as both parties had mutually resolved the dispute.

Both have mutually resolved their differences, and based on this, the Bombay High Court on Wednesday quashed both their FIRs. Rakhi Sawant had leveled serious allegations of threats, harassment, and other charges against her ex-husband. On the other hand, Adil Durrani had accused Rakhi of threatening to viral obscene videos and damaging his social reputation.
Court's Decision and Mutual Agreement
According to a PTI report, Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Sandesh Patil of the Bombay High Court, during the hearing, stated, "Considering the mutual agreement reached, there is no need to keep the FIR pending. The FIR and the subsequent chargesheet are quashed." The court clarified in its decision that the FIR was registered due to matrimonial disputes, and now, after a settlement between both parties, there is no need to maintain it.
During this, both Rakhi Sawant and Adil Durrani were present in court. They informed the court that they had no objection to the FIRs being quashed. While in court, both also assured that they would resolve their differences peacefully. Rakhi Sawant had accused Adil of criminal intimidation, harassment, and unnatural sex. On the other hand, Adil Durrani had accused Rakhi of threatening to viral obscene videos and damaging his reputation.

The dispute between Rakhi Sawant and Adil Durrani had continuously remained in the headlines of social media and the mainstream media. The ongoing differences between them led to several legal proceedings. However, both parties decided to resolve the dispute through mutual dialogue and settlement.
