Former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has once again issued a b statement, this time targeting Chandra Shekhar Azad Ravan, the leader of the Bhim Army.
Rajasthan News: Uttar Pradesh politics has heated up once again. Former BJP MP and former WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh launched a scathing attack on newly elected MP from Nagina, Chandra Shekhar Azad Ravan. He stated that if the allegations against Chandra Shekhar hold merit, an immediate case should be filed; otherwise, a large-scale nationwide movement could erupt.
Singh made this statement during a public gathering in his bhold, Nandnagar. He openly challenged Chandra Shekhar, saying, "If you are innocent, face the judiciary; otherwise, stay home. You are the one who talked about dragging us from our villages; now come forward and respect the law."
The question of a daughter from a weaker section; why is the opposition silent?
Connecting the issue to social justice and the dignity of the weaker sections, Brij Bhushan Singh said, "This is not just about one person; it's about a daughter from a weaker section. In this situation, the Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, and other opposition parties should be vocal on this issue. But everyone is silent—why?" Directly questioning the opposition's silence, he asserted that this issue is not political but one of social justice. "If you are truly champions of Dalit rights, come forward and help the victim get justice," he added.
Public outrage if a case is not filed
The former MP said the government should clarify the situation quickly. If the allegations against Chandra Shekhar Azad are substantiated, action should be taken according to the law. He warned, "If a case is not filed, a huge storm will arise; people will take to the streets." Brij Bhushan added that India is a democratic country and the rule of law must prevail. He emphasized that the law is equal for everyone, whether a common citizen or an MP.
Brij Bhushan also speaks on foreign policy and caste census
During the public gathering, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh praised India's foreign policy, stating that the current government's foreign policy is the most successful to date. Citing the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and the 1971 war as examples, he said, "Foreign policy failed when we fed 92,000 Pakistani soldiers for eight months and then released them."
He expressed concern over the caste census, believing it could create new controversies in the country. He said some people want to use it for political gain. If their intentions are not clear, it could spread unrest in the country. Brij Bhushan Singh also stated that the history of the country after independence has been presented one-sidedly.
