CAT Score and IIM Admissions

Each IIM shortlists candidates for admission based on a combination of CAT score, academic records, work experience, and diversity factors. While the CAT score is crucial, its weightage varies among institutions. Older IIMs like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta typically give more importance to the CAT score. Following the CAT examination, an interview process is also conducted by the respective institutes.
