The company states that this drug slows down the aging process by removing inactive “zombie cells” from the body. Lab tests on mice showed a 9.4% increase in lifespan. Experts say it's premature to fully accept the claim without human trials, but the research shows encouraging possibilities.
How Does the Longevity Pill Work?
The main ingredient in Lonvi Biosciences' longevity pill is Procyanidin C1 (PCC1), a natural compound derived from grape seeds. This drug removes cells from the body that contribute to aging and inflammation.
The company claims that the right cell-targeted therapy can dramatically extend lifespan. However, the scientific community warns that tests on mice are early indicators, and extensive and long-term trials on humans are required.
Why is the Quest for Longevity Growing in China?
The average life expectancy in China has increased to 79 years, which is 5 years higher than the global average. Private investment and government interest have accelerated longevity research.
