Investigating agencies are now probing the Turkey connection in the Delhi blast case. The Turkey visit of Umar and Muzammil, members of the arrested doctor module, has deepened suspicions about international contacts linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammed network.
Delhi Blast: The investigation into the Delhi Red Fort blast case has now reached a new turning point. Investigating agencies suspect that the case might have a Turkey connection. According to sources, Dr. Umar and Dr. Muzammil, two members of the arrested doctor module, traveled to Turkey after joining Telegram groups. This information emerged during passport verification, indicating that this trip might be linked to the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Spread Across the Country After Turkey Visit
According to sources, after returning from Turkey, both doctors planned to become active in different parts of the country. They received instructions from a Jaish handler that module members should not stay in a single location to avoid attracting the attention of security agencies to one area. Following this directive, they chose cities like Faridabad, Saharanpur, and others.
Investigating agencies suspect that both individuals were given essential instructions related to the “operation” during their Turkey visit. It is now being investigated whether they met any foreign contacts or attended a Training Camp in Turkey.
Digital Network Linked to Telegram Groups
According to sources, prior to their Turkey trip, both doctors had established contact with several Telegram groups. It is believed that these groups were connected to networks operating terrorist activities in South Asia. This is why agencies are now meticulously investigating these digital communication channels.

With the help of Telegram chats, call records, and device data, agencies are trying to ascertain which handles they received instructions from and if there was any direct contact with foreign networks.
Digital Evidence Collected from Red Fort Area
The Delhi Police's Special Cell and central investigating agencies have obtained data dumps from mobile towers in the Red Fort area. This data covers the period from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM on the day of the blast. It is reported that during this time, Dr. Umar allegedly drove out an I-20 car.
This data is now being analyzed to determine who was contacted via calls or chats at that time. Agencies are also investigating whether any international calls or VPN networks were used.
Increased Suspicion on Jaish-e-Mohammed Network
According to a senior official involved in the investigation, agencies are close to confirming that the Jaish-e-Mohammed network was active behind this entire operation. This organization is based in Pakistan and has long been involved in carrying out terrorist activities in India.
Sources indicate that during their Turkey visit, Umar and Muzammil likely met contacts associated with Jaish who were working to keep its network active in India.
Agencies Reach Crucial Juncture in Investigation
Investigating agencies are now focusing more on the digital aspect of the case. A team of forensic experts is recovering data from mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic devices. Information related to chat history, call logs, and file transfers is being extracted from these devices.
An official stated, “We have found some digital trails that indicate the handler sent instructions from abroad. We are now conducting a technical investigation into these IP addresses and server locations.”
