According to information, as soon as news of the Delhi blast reached the Khatu Shyam Temple administration, they immediately halted darshan (viewing) for the night. Devotees standing in long queues inside the temple were instructed to exit. Within moments, the darshan pathway was completely cleared. The darshan system normalized from Tuesday morning, but now devotees are only allowed entry after a strict security check.

Tight Security Measures at Khatu Shyam Temple
