In this meeting, Ms. Gupta provided detailed information on major ongoing projects in the capital and shared the outlines of upcoming plans.
Furthermore, she presented a souvenir from the National War Memorial and stressed the plan to take school children there, fostering patriotism and a sense of nation-building.
A Shared Vision for Delhi
The Chief Minister described the meeting as inspiring, stating that she gained renewed energy and resolve from Prime Minister Modi's visionary leadership. She expressed support for the Prime Minister's vision of developing Delhi not only as a progressive and smart capital but also as a citizen-participation-based model city.

Concrete Steps Towards a Green Initiative and Improved Sanitation
The Chief Minister also briefed on the concrete steps taken towards making Delhi a greener city. A target of planting 70 lakh (7 million) saplings has been set for this year in Delhi. The 'One Tree in Mother's Name 2.0' campaign is being promoted as a social initiative, ensuring the participation of schools, colleges, RWAs (Resident Welfare Associations), and ordinary citizens.
Simultaneously, the beautification of parks and plantation along roadsides has commenced. These efforts prioritize environmental sustainability by integrating cutting-edge technologies and innovation.
Utilizing Technology in Waste Management
The Delhi government is transforming waste management from a challenge into an opportunity. The Chief Minister explained that work is underway towards the scientific disposal of waste through modern technology. This will improve sanitation levels in Delhi, and alternative models such as waste-to-energy production will also be adopted. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta shared plans to raise awareness among students about cultural and historical monuments during this meeting.
She stated that students from all government and private schools will be taken on visits to the National War Memorial, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar National Memorial, and the Prime Minister's Museum. This will familiarize the younger generation with the nation's struggles and contributions. The campaign will also include public awareness programs through internet media and public relations, connecting Delhi's citizens with the historical significance of these sites.
