Delhi News: In the capital, Delhi, Deputy Mayor Jai Bhagwan Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of Hindu Rao Hospital, operated under the Municipal Corporation, on Monday. During this inspection, issues of cleanliness and stray dogs were found within the hospital premises. Expressing displeasure over the shortcomings, the Deputy Mayor gave strict instructions to the concerned officials and asked them to improve the arrangements.
Deputy Mayor's Special Focus on Cleanliness
During the inspection, the Deputy Mayor closely observed the sanitation system of the hospital. He ordered regular trimming of tree branches, cleaning of garbage within and outside the hospital, and timely disposal of waste.
He clearly told the existing staff and officials that patients and their families must be provided with a clean environment at all costs. Emphasis was also placed on continuous efforts towards improving the hospital and strengthening its systems.
Orders for Cleaning and Tree Trimming at the Hospital
The Deputy Mayor expressed his displeasure over the dilapidated condition of the road passing by the Hindu Rao Hospital. He ordered immediate repairs and also issued an order for cleaning the garbage lying along the roadside and removing encroachments.
The aim of this step was stated to be protecting patients and visitors from any kind of inconvenience and improving the overall system of the hospital premises.
Concrete Steps to Catch and Remove Stray Dogs
The Deputy Mayor instructed the concerned department to take action on the problem of stray dogs within the hospital premises. He stated that this would allow patients and their families to experience a safe and comfortable environment.

During the visit, the Deputy Mayor interacted with the patients admitted to the hospital and their families and listened to their problems. He instructed the officials to ensure immediate resolution.
Yadav said that the timely resolution of citizens' grievances is the primary responsibility of the Municipal Corporation. He assured that the Corporation would continue to work tirelessly to further strengthen health facilities.
