A golden opportunity has once again arisen for Delhi's vehicle drivers. The Delhi Traffic Police and the Delhi State Legal Services Authority have jointly organized the National Lok Adalat on September 13, 2025.

On this occasion, drivers will have the opportunity to settle their pending traffic challans and notices with concessions. This court, organized through the joint efforts of the Delhi Traffic Police and the Delhi State Legal Services Authority, can prove to be a golden opportunity for vehicle owners.
Where Lok Adalats will be held in Delhi
The Lok Adalat will be held in seven court complexes. These court complexes are as follows:
- Patiala House Court
- Karkardooma Court
- Tis Hazari Court
- Rouse Avenue Court
- Dwarka Court
- Saket Court
- Rohini Court
The court will be open at all these locations from 10 AM to 4 PM. Vehicle owners can settle their challans during this time.
What vehicle owners need to do at the Lok Adalat
Vehicle owners will have to take some essential steps to avail the benefits at the Lok Adalat:
- Download Challan and Notice
- Vehicle owners will have to download their pending challans or notices from the official website of the Delhi Traffic Police.
- This facility has already commenced from September 8, 2025.
- A maximum of 60,000 challans can be downloaded per day.
- In total, 1,80,000 challans can be downloaded before the Lok Adalat.
- Slot Booking and Token Registration
- It will be mandatory to register for a token online before visiting the Lok Adalat.
- This will ensure time management and convenience for people attending the court.
Required Documents
Vehicle owners attending the Lok Adalat must bring the following documents with them:
- Printed copy of the challan/notice
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
- Valid identity proof, such as Aadhaar card, passport, or driving license
Benefits cannot be availed at the Lok Adalat without these documents. The primary objective of the National Lok Adalat is to provide vehicle owners with an opportunity for a smooth and quick settlement of their pending challans and notices. This initiative is expected to improve compliance with traffic rules and also provide financial relief.
