A 16-year-old student, Sabina, a resident of Ratanpur village, Anharbari Tola, Israel, in Deoria district, has died under tragic circumstances. Both the police investigating the incident and the family are taking the situation seriously, and there is an apprehension of murder.

Sequence of Events

Sabina left home on Monday afternoon around 4 PM but did not return by evening.

On Tuesday, local residents informed people nearby after spotting a body floating in a pond. During the investigation, the body was identified as Sabina's.

A suicide note was also found near the body, which read: “I am going to die… keep looking at my photo when you miss me.”

The family has alleged that the handwriting is not their daughter's, and they suspect she was murdered and thrown into the pond.

Police have taken a young man into custody and are investigating all angles.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, and the exact cause of death will only be clear after the report is received.

Questions Raised by the Family

The family has expressed doubt over the deceased's handwriting and the language of the suicide note. They state that the note does not resemble their daughter's handwriting. The family also alleges that Sabina might have been murdered and thrown into the pond.

Police Action

Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team led by In-charge Inspector Rahul Singh reached the spot. The body was retrieved from the pond and sent for post-mortem.
