According to an NDTV report, Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital around October 31 after experiencing breathing difficulties. He was kept under treatment and observation for several weeks under the care of doctors. He was discharged from the hospital on November 12, after which he returned home and his treatment is ongoing there.
During his hospitalization, several big names from Bollywood visited Dharmendra, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Govinda. These visits were considered very important for the actor's health and morale.

Dharmendra's family and close friends are continuously in touch regarding his health. Earlier this week, close friend of the actor, Shatrughan Sinha, and his wife Poonam Sinha met Hema Malini and inquired about Dharmendra's health.
