Discussions have intensified in Bihar’s political circles regarding the possible formation of a new government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of Ram Navami, according to sources.
Sources indicated that if the government is formed, two leaders from the Janata Dal (United) may be sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers, along with approximately 32 ministers.
According to sources, multiple rounds of discussions have taken place between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal (United) regarding a possible power-sharing arrangement. However, no formal confirmation has been issued by either party, although discussions in political circles have intensified.
Sources said that an initial framework for the formation of the cabinet is also being prepared. The possible list is reported to include leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal (United), along with representatives from allied parties in order to maintain coalition balance.
According to sources, consensus has not yet been reached between the two parties regarding the Speaker’s post and the Home Ministry. As a result, a final decision on government formation is reported to be pending. Discussions on these two key positions are continuing.
