What Should Be the Educational Qualification
To apply for the Primary Teacher post, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks in the Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) examination from a recognized board. Additionally, they must possess a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
Candidates who have scored 45 percent marks in the Senior Secondary examination and have completed a two-year D.El.Ed. as per NCTE Regulation 2002 will also be eligible to apply. Moreover, a Senior Secondary certificate with 50 percent marks along with a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a two-year Diploma in Special Education will also be considered valid qualifications.
Graduates with a two-year D.El.Ed. are also eligible to apply.
CTET Pass is Mandatory
One of the most crucial eligibility conditions for this recruitment process is that the candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). This condition applies to all candidates. Additionally, candidates must have passed in one of the languages – Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English – at the Secondary level.
