ED Raids AAP Leader Saurabh Bharadwaj's Home, AAP Alleges Political Vendetta

ED Raids AAP Leader Saurabh Bharadwaj's Home and 13 Locations. AAP Accuses Modi Government of Suppressing Opposition and Diverting Attention from Real Issues.

Delhi: Delhi's political scene was stirred on Tuesday morning when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided 13 locations, including the home of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj. The raids are related to alleged irregularities in health projects. However, AAP leaders have called the raid an act of political vendetta by the Modi government. The party says that this is just an attempt to divert attention and suppress the voice of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Raids on Saurabh Bharadwaj's Home and 13 Locations

The ED team reached Saurabh Bharadwaj's home in Delhi on Tuesday morning and also conducted raids at 12 other locations. The case is said to be related to health projects in which alleged irregularities have occurred. The ED registered a case in this matter in July and raids are now being conducted as part of the investigation. However, the Aam Aadmi Party says that Saurabh Bharadwaj was not even a minister at the time of the alleged irregularities, therefore the whole case is false.

Kejriwal's Allegation: Modi Government is Misusing Agencies

AAP convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reacted bly to the ED's action. He said that the Modi government is misusing the country's agencies. He posted on X (formerly Twitter), "The Modi government is after the Aam Aadmi Party. Never in history has any party been targeted like this. AAP's biggest mistake is that it openly speaks out against the wrong policies and corruption of the Modi government. The Modi government wants to suppress our voice. But this will never happen."

Kejriwal further said that AAP is not afraid of these raids by the BJP. The party has been raising its voice in the interest of the country before, and will continue to do so in the future.

Atishi's Statement: This Raid is a Diversionary Tactic

Former Delhi Minister Atishi also targeted the government over the raid on Saurabh Bharadwaj's house. She said that the raid is related to a time when Saurabh Bharadwaj was not a minister. She questioned, "Why did the raid happen today? Because questions are being raised about Modi ji's degree across the country. People are asking if the Prime Minister's degree is fake. This raid has been done only to divert attention from this issue."

Referring to Satyendar Jain, Atishi said that he was kept in jail for three years, but eventually the CBI and ED had to submit a closure report. This makes it clear that all the cases against Aam Aadmi Party leaders are created only for political purposes.

Bhagwant Mann Says: Raid Only to Divert People's Attention

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also criticized the ED's action. He said that this raid was conducted because questions are being raised in the country about the Prime Minister's degree. He posted on X, saying that this action is a conspiracy to divert people's attention from real issues.

Manish Sisodia Said: Attack on AAP's Honesty

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia also described the ED raid on Saurabh Bharadwaj as politically motivated. He said that "Satyendar Jain was also kept in jail for three years. The CBI and ED investigated day and night, but no evidence was found. The truth is that all these cases are false. The real fight is not for truth, but to suppress AAP's honesty."

AAP Claims: Conspiracy to Target the Opposition Before 2024

The Aam Aadmi Party has alleged that the BJP is using agencies to eliminate the opposition before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The party says that such raids are conducted so that the public does not ask questions on real issues. AAP leaders say that they will continue to raise their voice against every injustice of the Modi government.
