Eknath Shinde Urges Shiv Sena Workers to Prioritize Public Service Ahead of Municipal Elections

Political activity has intensified in Maharashtra in anticipation of the upcoming municipal elections. As part of this, Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leader Eknath Shinde held a meeting with party officials in Palghar district on Sunday and conveyed the message of prioritizing public service. He stated clearly that no leader or worker should flaunt their position, but rather behave like a servant of the people. Shinde instructed all workers to be active at the grassroots level, listen to people's grievances seriously, and resolve them immediately.

He also said that the party's real strength is the trust of the people, and every leader must work with complete honesty and integrity to maintain it. According to Shinde, the party will gain strength through public service, and this is the key to victory in the municipal elections.

I am also just a worker

Addressing the workers, Eknath Shinde shared his experiences, saying that he has worked in many positions in the party and has also been the Chief Minister, but he still considers himself an ordinary worker. He said, "Whatever the position, go among the people like a common worker. If you live the life of a worker with a sincere heart, there is no need to be afraid of any challenge."

Shinde mentioned an incident from his tenure as Chief Minister, recounting how he used to receive calls from ordinary people and even his sister regarding basic problems such as a broken toilet or water scarcity. He said that he immediately instructed the concerned MLA or corporator to resolve the problems. Through this, he tried to explain to the workers that listening to the problems of the people and solving them in a timely manner is true leadership.

Local youth will get employment

Shinde also assured that local youth would be provided with employment through major projects like the Vadhawan Port. He said that the state government is focusing on infrastructure development as well as employment creation at the local level. He also called upon party workers to get involved in the upcoming municipal elections, saying that being active among the people is the biggest strategy for electoral success.

Shinde said, "Connection with the public and dedication will strengthen the party. Everything else will follow automatically." His statement is being seen as a strategy to focus on organizational discipline and public dialogue.
