Gaza Peace Hopes Soar: Hamas Accepts Key Trump Plan Conditions, Israel Halts Attacks

A major initiative has emerged aimed at ending the long-standing conflict in the Middle East. Gradually, consensus is beginning to form on the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump.

New Delhi: Hopes for establishing peace in the Gaza Strip have strengthened following two years of ongoing conflict. Hamas has expressed agreement to accept several significant conditions of US President Donald Trump's peace plan. On the other hand, Israel has also announced that it will no longer launch attacks on Gaza. This step is considered a significant advancement towards implementing the first phase of Trump's peace plan.

PM Modi wrote on social media platform X, "We welcome President Trump's leadership for the decisive progress in peace efforts in Gaza. The indications of hostage release are a crucial step. India will continue to bly support all efforts towards lasting and equitable peace."

Positive Signs for Trump's Peace Plan

The two-year ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza has claimed thousands of lives and destabilized the region. In this context, Trump's peace plan is being regarded as a decisive initiative. Under this plan, Hamas has expressed its consent for the release of hostages and the transfer of power. However, further deliberation is required among Palestinian factions on other aspects of the plan.

Trump also welcomed this stance, stating that it is a significant step towards lasting peace. He wrote on social media, "I am confident they are ready for long-term peace. Israel must immediately cease bombing in Gaza to ensure the safe release of hostages."

Israel Shows Flexibility

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also supported this initiative, stating that his country is ready to implement the first phase of the American President's peace plan. Netanyahu clarified in a statement that Israel would cooperate towards ending the war in accordance with its national principles and security interests.

These indications suggest that the long-standing violence and war in the region may now gradually subside. If this process succeeds, it could mark a new beginning of stability and peace not only in Gaza but throughout the Middle East.
