On November 12, gold futures on MCX opened at ₹1,24,300 per 10 grams and traded with a slight uptick. Silver reached ₹1,55,466 per kilogram. According to experts, the weakness of the rupee and global instability have led to a surge in prices.
Gold Price Today: In the domestic market today, November 12, 2025 (Wednesday), gold prices have seen a marginal increase. On MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange), the gold futures contract for December 5 expiry opened at ₹1,24,300 per 10 grams. On the previous trading day, it had closed at ₹1,23,913.
Slight Uptick in Early Trade
By 10 AM, December expiry gold was trading at ₹1,23,998 on MCX. This indicates an increase of about ₹80 from the previous closing price. In the initial session, gold touched a high of ₹1,24,444. This suggests that gold prices are currently stable with a slight upward trend.
Silver Prices Also Rise
Alongside gold, Silver Price also recorded an increase. As of the time of writing, silver was trading at ₹1,55,466 per kilogram on MCX. It had opened at ₹1,54,926 at the start of the trading day. This means silver prices have seen a surge of approximately ₹700.
