In road accidents that occurred in Gonda district on October 28, 2025, one person died, while an advocate and a village head's son were injured. Near Kathari Bridge on the Raja Sagra Rampur road in Wazirganj, cyclist Sarkar Bahadur Singh alias Bhola was severely injured after being hit by a motorcycle. He later succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Lucknow Medical College. He ran a grocery shop in Dhondhiyapara and had gone to visit a relative in Rampur village following their demise.
In another incident, a Thar vehicle lost control and overturned into a ditch near Madhavpur Chakatta village under Nagar Kotwali on the Gonda-Lucknow Highway, injuring its two occupants. It is reported that the vehicle belongs to Aryan Pandey, son of the late advocate Ravi Prakash Pandey, who had purchased it just ten days prior.
In a third incident, a truck collided with a car in the Nawabganj area, injuring Vipin Singh, son of Koder's village head. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
