On the occasion of Navratri and Durga Puja, Gorakhpur administration has completed its security preparations. This time, approximately four thousand Durga idols will be installed in urban and rural areas, which will be kept under special surveillance.
The police administration stated that CCTV cameras will be installed at all puja pandals, and security forces will be deployed. Crowded areas will also be monitored using drone cameras.
Furthermore, the police have formulated a special plan to ensure smooth traffic management. Parking facilities and barricading arrangements are being made near the pandals to prevent any inconvenience to devotees.
The District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police informed that security arrangements have been made at all levels to maintain law and order throughout the Navratri and Dussehra festivals.
The administration is also in constant contact with local committees and organizers to ensure that all programs are conducted peacefully and in an organized manner.
