In a move to realize the Uttar Pradesh government's goal of a one trillion dollar economy, the Greater Noida Authority and the Industrial Business Association jointly organized a registration and awareness camp for industrial units on Thursday. Approximately 160 entrepreneur representatives from Greater Noida and surrounding areas participated in this camp. Through the camp, a positive belief in the government's various schemes and policies was observed among the entrepreneurs.
Information on Industrial Rules and Schemes Provided
At the camp, Naveen Kumar Singh, OSD of the Greater Noida Authority, provided industrialists with detailed information on industrial regulations, licensing procedures, land use policy, and operational provisions. Additionally, officials from the Labor Department, the Factory Inspection Department, and the Entrepreneur Mitra Yojana also shared information on their respective departments' registration processes, schemes, and regulations. The aim of the camp was to enable entrepreneurs to further strengthen their businesses by taking better advantage of government policies.
Increased Dialogue Between Industry and Administration
Amit Upadhyay, President of the Industrial Business Association, stated that the purpose of this camp is to make the industrial sector aware of government processes, understand the difficulties encountered in operations, and directly deliver the benefits of government schemes to entrepreneurs. He said that such events strengthen the dialogue between the administration and entrepreneurs, giving new impetus to industrial development.
Industrial Development as a Government Priority
At the camp, Soumya Srivastava, Additional CEO of the Greater Noida Authority, said that the Uttar Pradesh government is giving top priority to industrial development. This camp is a positive effort towards empowering industries and strengthening the state's economy. He assured that such camps would continue to be organized in the future so that entrepreneurs can receive all the facilities and necessary information in a timely manner.
Notably, Noida and Greater Noida have become important centers of the Yogi government's industrial development model. Noida in Delhi-NCR is now rapidly emerging as a major industrial hub, where investment and business opportunities are constantly increasing.
