Haryana BJP Chief Mohanlal Badoli Slams Congress, Confirms PM Modi's October 17 Visit

Haryana BJP State President Mohanlal Badoli claimed that the Congress is weakening in the state. He stated that paddy is being sold in mandis at prices higher than the MSP, and farmers are prosperous. PM Modi will visit the state on October 17.

Chandigarh: Haryana BJP State President Mohanlal Badoli launched a sharp attack on the Congress party in the state, stating that the Congress is now heading towards its end in Haryana. He said, “Wherever a BJP government is formed, the Congress does not revive. The same situation now prevails in Haryana.”

Badoli, taking a dig at the opposition's strategies and rhetoric, said that in Congress, only infighting, disputes, and grandstanding are observed. According to him, BJP's b hold in the state has limited the political prospects for Congress.

Kuldeep Sharma's Statement on Joining BJP 

State President Mohanlal Badoli, when asked about former Congress leader Kuldeep Sharma joining the BJP, said that while he is a political person, considering his past record and nature, it doesn't seem likely that he would join the BJP.

Badoli stated, “Kuldeep Sharma will remain active in Congress. His nature includes making controversial statements and engaging in organizational disputes. Therefore, the probability of him joining the BJP is minimal.” This statement is sparking renewed discussions on the political equations between the BJP and Congress.

Government's Claim for Farmers and Mandis

Mohanlal Badoli claimed that crop procurement is ongoing in 117 mandis across Haryana. He said, “If there are any issues with procurement in any mandi, they will be resolved promptly. Our government is continuously working for the prosperity of farmers.”

Badoli also stated that paddy crops in the state are being sold at prices 200 to 600 rupees per quintal higher than the MSP, which has improved farmers' income. He asserted that the BJP government has taken several steps to strengthen the agricultural sector and the economic condition of farmers.

Prime Minister Modi's Haryana Visit

Mohanlal Badoli informed that to mark one year of the Haryana government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the public at Education City in Sonipat on October 17. During this visit, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for and inaugurate several projects.

Badoli said, “The people of Haryana will give a grand welcome to Prime Minister Modi. Previously too, the PM has bestowed several gifts upon the state, creating new opportunities for development and employment.”

Plan for New IMT Projects in Haryana

The State President revealed that the government is preparing to develop new IMTs (Industrial Model Townships) in 10 Lok Sabha constituencies of Haryana, on the lines of IMT Kharkhoda. He informed that land acquisition for this purpose has already been completed at several locations. Badoli stated that this project will bring new opportunities for industry and employment and will further accelerate the state's economic development.

Responding to the recent organizational changes in Congress, Badoli congratulated State President Ram Narendra and CLP Leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda. He stated that despite political competition, respect and a democratic approach are essential for all parties.
