Haryana Energy Minister Highlights Positive Transformation in Jammu & Kashmir Post-Article 370 Revocation

Haryana's Energy Minister Anil Vij stated that after the removal of Article 370, the atmosphere in Kashmir has completely changed. Now, applause echoes instead of bullets, sports and tourism have received a boost, and the government is also emphasizing solar energy schemes.

Haryana: Haryana Energy Minister Anil Vij said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spread prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir by removing Article 370. Where the sound of bullets once echoed, tourists now visit, sports are played, and new opportunities for development are emerging. He stated that water sports activities on Dal Lake are b evidence that the atmosphere in Kashmir has completely transformed.

Targeting the Congress

Speaking to journalists after listening to the 125th episode of Prime Minister's 'Mann Ki Baat' program with BJP workers in Ambala Cantt's Sadar Bazaar, Vij also attacked the Congress. He said that the Congress made a mistake by implementing Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, which led to the spread of terrorism and stalled development. By removing this provision, Prime Minister Modi not only integrated Kashmir into the mainstream but also opened new avenues for development for its people.

Sports and Tourism Get a Boost

Anil Vij said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, sports and tourism have been promoted in Jammu and Kashmir. From cricket matches to water sports on Dal Lake, the youth there are now actively participating in sports. This has not only boosted the morale of local youth but has also led to rapid development in the tourism sector.

Emphasis on Promoting Solar Energy

Referring to the Prime Minister's message in the 'Mann Ki Baat' program, Vij said that Modi highlighted the importance of solar energy to the nation. He stated that the government is continuously motivating farmers and common people to adopt solar energy. Several government schemes are being run to install solar panels in homes and solar energy pumps in fields.

Promoting Solar Energy through Subsidy

The Energy Minister explained that the government is providing a subsidy of up to ₹1.10 lakh for families with an income of less than ₹1.80 lakh to install solar energy connections of up to two kilowatts. The aim is for people to save electricity by adopting solar energy and also keep the environment clean.

Appeals to People to Adopt Solar Energy

Anil Vij appealed to the general public to use solar energy as much as possible. This will not only save on electricity bills but also make the country self-reliant in the energy sector. He said that Prime Minister Modi consistently stands with the countrymen in their joys and sorrows and communicates directly with people every month through the 'Mann Ki Baat' program.
