Hindu Groups Protest Alleged Atrocities Against Hindus in Bangladesh

Hindu organizations in Sultanpur, India, protested alleged atrocities against the Hindu community in Bangladesh, demanding international and Indian government intervention.

Sultanpur: Hindu organizations in the district staged a protest against alleged atrocities against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. Activists burned an effigy of the Bangladesh government at the Collectorate Gate and expressed their outrage through slogans.

Protesters stated that minority Hindus in Bangladesh are facing continuous attacks, and serious steps need to be taken at the international level regarding this issue. They described the matter as a human rights issue and demanded intervention from the Indian government.

During the protest, a memorandum was submitted to the City Magistrate by the organizations, with a request that it be forwarded to the President and Prime Minister.

Leaders of the Hindu organizations warned that if the incidents targeting minorities in Bangladesh are not stopped, the movement will be intensified.

During the protest, adequate security arrangements were made by the administration, and the situation remained peaceful.
