Exam Pattern
The IB Security Assistant examination will be conducted in three tiers—Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3—to assess candidates' knowledge and skills.
Tier-1 Examination
- It will consist of a total of 100 marks.
- The questions will be multiple-choice (MCQ) type.
- Questions will be asked from General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, and General Studies.
- The duration of the examination will be 1 hour.
- There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each correct answer and 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
Tier-2 and Tier-3 Examination
The Tier-2 examination will be descriptive, testing candidates' language and writing abilities.
The Tier-3 examination will be in the form of an interview or personality test.
Candidates who successfully pass all stages will be included in the final selection list.

- Candidates must follow some important guidelines on the day of the examination.
- Carry the admit card and a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License).
- Arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before time.
- No electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, etc., will be allowed inside the examination center.
