Selection Process: Two-Stage Examination System
The IBPS Clerk selection process consists of two main stages:
1. Preliminary Examination (Prelims):

- Subjects: English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability
- Time Limit: 60 minutes
- This is a screening test; only successful candidates can appear for the Main examination.
2. Main Examination (Mains):

- Subjects: General/Financial Awareness, English, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude
- Time Limit: 160 minutes
- The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Main examination.
