Indian Bank has announced a major recruitment drive for young people across the country. The bank has invited applications for the appointment of a total of 1500 seats for Apprentice positions. According to the notification issued by Indian Bank, a total of 1500 vacancies are available for Apprentice positions. The online application process has started and the last date to apply is August 7, 2025. What Should Be the Educational Qualification
Candidates who wish to apply for this recruitment must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. In addition, any equivalent degree recognized by the Central Government will also be recognized. No specific subject is mandatory, which makes this recruitment open to a wider range of candidates.
Age Limit and Relaxation Information
For this post, the minimum age of the candidate is fixed at 20 years and the maximum age is 28 years. This age limit will be determined based on a specific cut-off date. At the same time, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Persons with Disabilities will be given age relaxation as per the rules of the Central Government.
Selection Process Consists of Two Stages of Examination
In this recruitment process of Indian Bank, candidates will have to go through a two-level examination. The first stage will be an online written examination and the second stage will be a local language proficiency test.
Online Exam Format
A total of 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked in this examination. The total marks will also be 100 and a fixed time will be given to solve these questions. The question paper will include the following sections:
- Logical Reasoning
- Computer Knowledge
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- General Awareness (especially related to the banking sector)
Negative marking will also be applicable in this examination. For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks prescribed for the question will be deducted.
Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
You must have the ability to read, write, speak and understand the specified local language of the state for which you are applying. Through this examination, it will be ensured that the candidate is proficient in the local language of that area.
Application Fee Information
Application fee has also been fixed for this recruitment process. General category, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 800 plus GST. At the same time, this fee has been kept at Rs 175 plus GST for SC, ST and PwBD category candidates.
The application fee can be paid only through online mode. Candidates can pay through debit card, credit card or internet banking. The transaction fee will have to be borne by the candidate only.

Training Period and Stipend
