Indian equity markets are set for a positive start on Monday, with GIFT Nifty indicating early gains. At around 7:30 a.m., GIFT Nifty was trading 29 points, or 0.12%, higher at 24,670.50.
According to market experts, the combination of domestic economic fundamentals, easing geopolitical concerns and quarterly earnings could influence trading activity in the equity market this week.
Several companies are scheduled to announce their financial results for the first quarter of the financial year on Monday. These include Vodafone Idea, Bosch, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, AstraZeneca Pharma, Bharat Forge, Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company, CMS Info Systems, Dilip Buildcon, Gland Pharma, Hindustan Copper, KEC International, Info Edge (India), PC Jeweller, Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company, Triveni Turbine, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, Websol Energy System, Wockhardt, Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services and Zee Entertainment Enterprises.
The quarterly results, including profit, revenue, margins and management's future business estimates, are among the factors being watched by investors.
Titan Company reported a 62.9% increase in profit to ₹1,777 crore, compared with ₹1,091 crore in the same period last year. Revenue increased 29.3% to ₹21,356 crore.
Power Finance Corporation's profit rose 2.1% to ₹7,012 crore. Its net interest income, however, declined 3.3% to ₹10,696.4 crore from ₹11,061.4 crore.

Oil India's quarterly performance showed an increase in profit of 253% to ₹2,870.2 crore, compared with ₹813.5 crore in the previous period. Revenue increased 58.8% to ₹7,958.1 crore.
Kaynes Technology India reported a 24.4% decline in profit to ₹56.4 crore, while revenue increased 40.5% to ₹9,460.2 crore.
Ola Electric Mobility's loss narrowed to ₹336 crore from ₹428 crore. Revenue, however, declined 45% to ₹455 crore.
Entero Healthcare Solutions reported a 37.3% increase in profit to ₹38.2 crore, while revenue rose 38.2% to ₹1,940.5 crore.
Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals reported a 56.1% increase in profit to ₹101 crore, while revenue increased 13.9% to ₹1,166.6 crore.
Nitin Spinners' profit rose 83.6% to ₹75.3 crore, while revenue increased 10.3% to ₹875 crore.
Signature Global and its subsidiary Signatureglobal Business Park entered into collaboration agreements for 11.887 acres and 13.73 acres of land, respectively, in Sohna, Gurugram.
NMDC has set the price of lump ore at ₹5,250 per tonne and fine ore at ₹4,500 per tonne, effective from August 8.
Vedanta Aluminium's subsidiary BALCO has been declared the preferred bidder for the Karlapat bauxite block.
