Escalating Tensions: Israel Demands Iran Return Enriched Uranium, Threatens Consequences

Tensions have escalated between Iran and Israel over the nuclear program. Israel has demanded the return of enriched uranium from Iran. The United States has also issued a stern warning to Iran.

Iran-Israel Conflict: Amidst the ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran, Israel has issued a significant statement. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has stated unequivocally that Iran must immediately hand over its enriched uranium. He issued this warning with the support of the United States, making it clear that if Iran fails to do so, it could face serious consequences.

Katz said that this is the same enriched uranium that can be used to make nuclear weapons. He emphasized that the United States and Israel have jointly issued this ultimatum to Iran in order to prevent it from developing a nuclear bomb in the future.

Does Iran Lack the Technical Capability?

In his interview, Defense Minister Katz claimed that recent attacks by Israel were aimed at weakening Iran's nuclear capabilities. He said that Iran no longer has an active means of converting enriched uranium into a weapon-grade form.

According to Katz, to achieve this goal, Israel also destroyed Iran's "transfer facility," which was a crucial part of the process of converting enriched uranium into weapons.

Israel Doesn't Know Where Iran's Uranium Stockpile Is

However, Katz admitted that Israel does not have complete information about where Iran has hidden its enriched uranium. This concern has become even more serious because it indicates that Iran may secretly be continuing its nuclear preparations.

Reports from European Intelligence Agencies

According to a report in the Financial Times, European intelligence agencies believe that most of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile is safe despite US attacks. The report claims that movement of trucks was observed near Fordow just before the US attacks. This raises suspicion that Iran had already removed the uranium from there.

The report also indicates that Iran still possesses about 408 kilograms of high-grade uranium, which is sufficient for weapon production. It is noteworthy that this uranium was not recently present at the Fordow center, which deepens the suspicion that it has been hidden elsewhere.

Israel Wanted to Target Khamenei

Another shocking revelation has emerged in this whole episode. The Israeli Defense Minister said that during the recent conflict, the Israeli army planned to target Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Katz claimed that the plan to kill Khamenei was already prepared.

Was Permission Taken from the US?

When the Defense Minister was asked whether permission was taken from the US to target Khamenei, he clearly stated that Israel does not need anyone's permission in such matters. He said that Israel independently makes decisions for its security interests and will not hesitate to take action if any country poses a threat to it.
