Dengue is an infectious viral disease spread by the bite of the female Aedes mosquito. This mosquito lays eggs in places where water collects — such as cooler trays, flower pots, buckets, tanks, open water tanks on rooftops, etc.
Mosquitoes often hide in damp, dark, and unclean places — such as under furniture, behind wardrobes, amidst junk, etc.
It is extremely important to clean and spray insecticides in such places.
