JDU announced 44 candidates in its second list for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. The list includes new and young faces alongside incumbent MLAs. Four Muslim candidates have also been given tickets.

JDU Candidate List: Janata Dal (United) (JDU) has released its second list of candidates for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. This list comprises a total of 44 candidates. This time, JDU has given tickets predominantly to incumbent MLAs, while also providing opportunities to new and young candidates. This move reflects the party's electoral strategy and inclusive approach.

Identification of Muslim Candidates

Four Muslim candidates have also been given tickets in JDU's second list. This indicates that the party is actively preparing to consolidate the Muslim vote bank in Bihar. In view of the elections, this list has been prepared considering representation from various regions and sections of society.

Key Names Included in the List

JDU has named Dhirendra Pratap Singh alias Rink Singh as its candidate from the Valmikinagar seat. Samriddh Verma from Siktia, Vishal Sah from Narkatia, Shalini Mishra from Kesariya, and Shweta Gupta from Shivhar have been given tickets. Nagendra Raut from Sursand, Pankaj Mishra from Runnisaidpur, and Sudhanshu Shekhar from Harlakhi are included in the party's second list.

Meena Kamat from Babubarhi, Sheela Mandal from Phulparas, and Satish Sah from Loukaha have received tickets. Aniruddh Prasad Yadav from Nirmali, Ram Vilas Kamat from Pipra, and Vijendra Prasad Yadav from Supaul have been nominated as candidates. Sonam Rani Sardar from Tribeniganj, Achmit Rishidev from Raniganj, and Shagufta Azeem from Araria have also been fielded in the elections.

Manzar Alam from Jokihat, Gopal Agrawal from Thakurganj, and Saba Zafar from Amaur have been named as candidates. Kaladhar Mandal from Rupauli, Leshi Singh from Dhamdaha, and Dulalchandra Goswami from Kadwa are among those who received tickets. Shambhu Suman from Manihari, Vijay Singh Nishad from Barari, and Bulo Mandal from Gopalpur have been nominated as candidates.

Lalit Narayan Mandal from Sultanganj, Shubhanand Mukesh from Kahalgaon, and Jayant Raj from Amarpur have received tickets. Manish Kumar from Dhuraiya, Manoj Yadav from Belhar, and Mohd. Jama Khan from Chainpur have been declared candidates.

Bashishth Singh from Karagahar, Mahabali Singh from Karakat, and Nagendra Chandravanshi from Nokha have been nominated as candidates. Chandreshwar Chandravanshi from Jehanabad, Rituraj Kumar from Ghosi, and Chetan Anand from Nabinagar have been given tickets.

Pramod Kumar Singh from Rafiganj, Manorama Devi from Belaganj, and Vibha Devi from Nawada have been declared candidates. Damodar Rawat from Jhajha, Sumit Kumar Singh from Chakai, and Pappu Kumar Verma from Kurtha are included in the party's second list.

Focus on Young and Rural Voters

By giving opportunities to young and rural candidates in this list, JDU has prepared to strengthen its grassroots presence. This strategy could prove beneficial for the party, as young and rural voters significantly influence election results in Bihar.
