The Kamayani Express will have a two-minute experimental halt at Karimuddinpur station in Ghazipur from August 16, 2026, with train numbers 11071 and 11072 scheduled to stop at the station at specified times.

Railway administration has decided to introduce an experimental halt for the Kamayani Express at Karimuddinpur station in Ghazipur, keeping passenger demand and convenience in view. Train numbers 11071/11072, the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Ballia-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, will stop at the station for two minutes.

The new arrangement will come into effect from August 16, 2026. With the stoppage, passengers from Karimuddinpur and nearby areas will have less need to travel to other stations to board the train.

According to the Railway, train number 11071 departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from August 16 will arrive at Karimuddinpur station at 9:53 pm and depart at 9:55 pm after a two-minute halt.]

Train number 11072 departing from Ballia from August 17 will arrive at Karimuddinpur station at 1:13 pm and depart at 1:15 pm.

The Railway has appealed to passengers to take the new stoppage timings into account while planning their journeys and reach the station sufficiently early to board the train.

The stoppage of the Kamayani Express at Karimuddinpur station will facilitate travel for local passengers to Varanasi, Ballia and other cities connected by the train's route. The train's connectivity will provide passengers in the area with an additional option for long-distance travel.

The halt has currently been introduced on an experimental basis. A decision on continuing the arrangement may be taken later based on passenger feedback and traffic conditions.
