However, in just five days, this film has set new earning records. According to reports, the film has globally grossed up to ₹362.75 crore, with the overseas market contributing ₹55.75 crore.

Kantara Chapter 1 was released in countries like Australia, Germany, Malaysia, New Zealand, the USA, and the United Kingdom. In the USA alone, the film earned $2,411,057, which is approximately ₹21.39 crore in Indian currency. This performance clearly indicates that Rishab Shetty's film has cemented its b presence among international audiences as well.

10-Year-Old Film's Record Broken

Kantara - Chapter 1 has surpassed many major films to date. These include 'Bang Bang', 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'The Kashmir Files', 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', 'Fighter', 'Drishyam', and 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. However, it has now broken the global box office record of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's film 'Bajirao Mastani', released 10 years ago. 'Bajirao Mastani' held a record of ₹355 crore, which 'Kantara - Chapter 1' surpassed in just 5 days.

Its next targets include the records of films like Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan's 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior', 'Dilwale', and Shahid Kapoor's 'Kabir Singh'. This is a clear indication that the performance of 'Kantara - Chapter 1' shows no signs of slowing down.
