Kantara Chapter 1's Stellar Opening
Kantara Chapter 1 has significantly impressed audiences in its initial days of release. The film garnered b earnings from day one and crossed a total worldwide collection of 164.39 crore rupees by the third day. Moreover, the film surpassed major productions like Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' and Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'.

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, Kantara Chapter 1's Hindi (2D) screenings maintained a total occupancy of 29.54% in cinemas. Morning shows saw 13.96%, afternoon shows 24.26%, evening shows 30.54%, and night shows recorded 49.41% audience participation.
Meanwhile, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari had a total occupancy of 26.28%. Morning shows recorded 11.99%, afternoon shows 27.20%, evening shows 28.96%, and night shows had 36.96% audience participation. These figures clearly indicate audience interest in the films, with Kantara proving more popular.
Kantara's Record Earnings
Kantara Chapter 1 achieved the distinction of becoming the highest-grossing Kannada film of the year on Friday. It surpassed the 92 crore net lifetime earnings of 'Soo From So'. By Saturday, the film had also overtaken several major films, including 'Sikandar' and 'Game Changer'.
By the third day, Kantara had crossed the 150 crore mark, making it the fourth highest-grossing Kannada film.
