This recruitment drive is for four technical trades, including Fitter, Electrician, Engineer, and Welder. Applications can be submitted on the website from December 23, 2025, to January 22, 2026. Eligible candidates who possess a 10th pass certificate and the relevant ITI certificate can apply for selection based on merit and the document verification process. Application Process and Deadline
Candidates will first register themselves on the official website of Kolkata Metro Railway. Subsequently, they will need to log in, fill in personal and educational details, upload documents, and submit the application fee. After submitting the form, it is mandatory to keep a printout of it for future reference.
The final date for online applications is January 22, 2026. Forms submitted by candidates who fail to apply on time will not be accepted. Candidates belonging to the General and OBC/EWS categories are required to pay a fee of INR 100, whereas SC, ST, PwD (Persons with Disabilities), and all women candidates are fully exempted from the application fee.

Eligibility and Age Limit
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must have passed 10th standard with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Additionally, it is essential for candidates to possess an ITI certificate.
The age limit has been set between 15 and 24 years (as of January 22, 2026). Candidates belonging to reserved categories can avail age relaxation as per rules.
Selection Process
Selection will be entirely merit-based. Separate merit lists will be prepared for each trade and category. If two candidates have equal marks, priority will be determined based on age and the matriculation passing date.
Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for document verification and a medical fitness test in a 1:50 ratio. Final selection will only be made after the completion of all processes.
