Politics has heated up over Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind chief Maulana Madani's statement on jihad. Samajwadi Party MP Mohibullah Nadvi has also supported Madani's statement.
Lucknow: Discussions have intensified in the politics of Uttar Pradesh and the country regarding Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind chief Maulana Madani's statement on jihad. Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Mohibullah Nadvi also supported Madani's statement. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya reacted to this statement on Thursday and clearly stated that no one in India is now allowed to threaten jihad.
Keshav Prasad Maurya's Strong Stance
'Madani, the SP MP, and the Samajwadi Party share a similar mindset. No one should threaten jihad in India now. This is not a country with an appeasement-driven Congress and its led government. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the rule of law is established. Equal treatment for all and inclusive development are being ensured.'
He further added that those threatening jihad should understand that the people of the country can respond to it. "When elections are held, the public will give a fitting reply to the Samajwadi Party and parties that support statements like Madani's," he stated.

Strong Stance on Infiltrators
Keshav Prasad Maurya also gave a clear message regarding infiltrators. He stated that there is no shelter for infiltrators in Uttar Pradesh or any other state in India. Infiltrators should be identified and sent back to their place of origin. The Union Home Minister has already made it clear that strict action will be taken against infiltrators.
This statement highlights the government's stance on security and compliance with the law in the state and the country. Maurya asserts that the rule of law is the greatest strength of the country, and no one can go against it.
The Deputy Chief Minister also commented on the political debate surrounding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). He said, "SP's politics has become bleak. They used to think they would come to power in 2027, but now this hope will not be fulfilled even by 2047. SIR is a voter purification process. It should be welcomed. Those who oppose it will face public rejection, as the general public supports SIR."
