It is reported that this entire incident took place last Sunday night, after which the matter has been continuously in the headlines.
Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started investigating the entire matter. Since the news came out, there has been a stir in the South industry, as Lakshmi Menon is considered one of the popular actresses in the industry.
What is the whole matter?
The victim has been identified as an IT employee residing in Aluva. The young man told the police that he had gone to a restobar in Kochi with his friends on Sunday night. There, he had a dispute with actress Lakshmi Menon's friends. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the victim left the restaurant with his friends.
But the matter did not end there. It is alleged that after a while, when the young man was returning home in his car, Lakshmi Menon and her companions chased his car on the North Railway Overbridge and blocked the way.
Three accused arrested, Lakshmi Menon absconding
According to the victim, the dispute escalated to such an extent that the accused forcibly dragged him out of the car and put him in their car. Inside the car, the young man was constantly abused, threatened, and beaten. During this time, his mobile phone was also snatched. After keeping him captive for about an hour, the young man was dropped off at Vedimara Junction in Paravur. After this, the young man immediately filed a complaint with the police.
After the complaint was registered, the police immediately took action and arrested Lakshmi Menon's three friends – Mithun, Aneesh, and Sonamol. All three accused are said to be residents of Kochi. Meanwhile, actress Lakshmi Menon's mobile phone is switched off and she is said to be absconding. The police say that she will be taken into custody soon.
