Commonwealth Games gold medalist Lakshya Sen, young star Ayush Shetty, and emerging player Tarun Mannepalli have secured their places in the second round of the men's singles category after winning their respective first-round matches. Additionally, India has achieved significant success in mixed doubles.

Lakshya Sen's Impressive Victory, Boosted Confidence

India's star player and Commonwealth champion, Lakshya Sen, defeated South Korea's Jeon Hyeok Jin in straight sets with a score of 21-8, 21-14 in the first round. Lakshya displayed an aggressive game throughout the match, giving the Korean player no chance. The match concluded in just 32 minutes, and he showcased an unparalleled display of his experience and fitness.

In the second round, Lakshya will face the winner between Indonesia's Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo and India's Ritwik Sanjeevi Satish Kumar. This match could be challenging for him, but given his current form, fans have high expectations.

Ayush Shetty's Stormy Victory, Clean Sweep in Just 31 Minutes

India's young badminton player Ayush Shetty also delivered an excellent performance, defeating Chinese Taipei's Huang Yu Kai in just 31 minutes with a score of 21-10, 21-11. Ayush, ranked 31st in the world, defeated his 66th-ranked opponent in a one-sided match and advanced to the next round.
