Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given a big gift to the students who have excelled in the field of education. Scooters were distributed to 7,832 students who secured the top position in the twelfth grade. At the state-level event organized on this occasion, the Chief Minister not only handed over the scooter keys but also personally enjoyed a ride on a student's scooter as a pillion rider. Joy was evident on the faces of the children, and during the program, the CM also heavily criticized the Congress governments.
Chief Minister presented scooters as a gift to topper students
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that the government is continuously working to promote education and encourage children in the state. In this series, scooters are being given to school toppers. Additionally, under the Sanitation-Hygiene Scheme, more than 20 lakh girls have been provided with an amount of Rs 61.12 crore, and under the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Scheme, more than 20,000 girl students have received financial assistance of Rs 7 crore.
The Chief Minister mentioned that students in the state are being provided with facilities such as laptops, notebooks, bicycles, and now scooters, so that they can progress without any difficulties. He also advised the children to drive vehicles carefully, get number plates installed, and obtain licenses.
CM's camaraderie with the children
During the event, CM Mohan Yadav, in his usual amiable and friendly manner, won the hearts of the children. When he rode on a student's scooter, all the students present welcomed him with applause. The Chief Minister blessed the young children and urged the girls to become self-reliant.
The students also expressed their happiness upon receiving the scooters. They said that these scooters will not only make their commute easier but will also prove helpful in their studies and career paths.
Criticism leveled at the Congress
The Chief Minister launched a sharp attack on the Congress governments on this occasion. He said that there was a time when the condition of government schools in the state was extremely poor, and children did not even have basic facilities. Congress never made serious efforts to shape the future of children.
Giving examples of Israel and Japan, he said that these countries stood with India at the time of independence, but due to the wrong policies of the Congress, India lagged behind. The Chief Minister stated that "Sandipani Schools" are now being established in the state, and concrete steps are being taken to elevate the standard of education.
CM told the youth - Become job creators, not job seekers
Inspiring the youth, the CM said that in the changing times, the goal should not just be to get a job, but to become someone who provides jobs. Citing the example of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, he said that Bose had passed the ICS examination but rejected the job of the British and struggled for independence.
He added that the state government has provided laptops to over 5 lakh students, bicycles to more than 1 crore students, and scooters to thousands of students in the last 15 years. New schemes are being introduced in the industrial and technical sectors to make the youth self-reliant in the future.
A day of celebration for the children
School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh also extended his best wishes to the students at the event. He said that this is a day of celebration for the students. The Chief Minister always encourages children, and today's scooter distribution program is proof of that.
He appealed to the students to obtain learning licenses, follow traffic rules, and heed the advice of their parents and teachers. The minister stated that such schemes motivate children to perform even better in their studies.
