The first seat allotment list for CAP Round-1 under the First Year Junior College (FYJC) admission process in Maharashtra will now be released on June 30th. Earlier, this list was scheduled to be announced on June 26th at 5 PM, but it has been delayed due to some reason.
When will the first allotment list be released now?
The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has clarified that the first allotment list for CAP Round-1 for FYJC admissions will be released on June 30th. Students can view this list on the official website mahafyjcadmissions.in.
How many seats are available across the state?
Under the FYJC admission process, approximately 20 lakh seats are available across the state. These seats are divided into three major streams:
Science Stream: Approximately 8.52 lakh seats
Commerce Stream: Approximately 5.40 lakh seats
Arts Stream: Approximately 6.50 lakh seats
The allocation of these seats will be based on merit, reservation, and preferences.
What students need to do
After the release of the CAP Round-1 list, students who have been allocated a college must log in and view the college information. In addition, the cut-off list of the concerned college will also be available on the website, allowing students to know in which college they have been admitted according to their merit ranking.
