Gorakhpur Police have arrested a young man who was defrauding people by posing as an IAS officer. The accused had been deceiving people for a long time in the name of providing government jobs and contracts. Police had been monitoring his activities and apprehended him along with two of his associates.
Fake identity cards, materials resembling government documents, mobile phones, and other evidence were recovered from the arrested youth.
