Microsoft’s new research reveals that the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence could impact numerous jobs related to language, communication, and data. The company states that AI will not replace humans, but the way work is done will change rapidly.
AI Job Risk Report: Microsoft’s recent research indicates that many professions will undergo changes in the coming times due to the growing influence of AI. This report is based on an analysis of the company’s widespread use of AI tools, with the most significant impact observed on jobs involving language, data analysis, and customer interaction. This study is part of a global assessment and aims to raise awareness among people about upgrading their skills and adopting new technologies for the future.
Which Jobs Will Be Most Affected
According to Microsoft’s research, jobs related to language, information analysis, and communication are at the highest risk. These include professions such as interpreters and translators, writers, journalists, editors, proofreaders, and technical writers. AI is now rapidly handling tasks related to content creation, editing, and data understanding.
Furthermore, the use of AI has increased in jobs such as customer service representatives, telemarketers, ticket agents, travel clerks, and telephone operators. Chatbots and virtual assistants are able to complete these tasks at a lower cost and with greater speed.

Data and Analysis-Related Professions Also Affected
The research also revealed that professions such as data scientists, management analysts, market research analysts, statistical assistants, and account clerks are undergoing changes. AI tools are now playing a crucial role in processing large data and preparing reports.
Some positions related to education and research, such as economics teachers, business teachers, library science teachers, and historians, are also included in this list. Microsoft believes that AI will not replace humans in these areas, but the way work is done could change completely.
What Does Microsoft’s Warning Say
Microsoft has clarified that this does not mean that these jobs will be completely eliminated. According to the company, AI will work with humans in these fields, but those who have not updated themselves with new skills may face increased risk.
Many experts, including Geoffrey Hinton, known as the “Godfather of AI,” have already warned that machines will begin to perform many intellectual tasks in the future. In such a scenario, upgrading skills and understanding technology is now not an option, but a necessity.
